  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Final ticket sales deadline: October 1, 2021 at 12:00:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw
    Boat Raffle draw: October 1, 2021 at 12:00:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw will be held at Variety the Children's Charity, 4300 Still Creek Drive, Burnaby, BC V5C 6C6

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at http://boatforhope.variety.bc.ca/winners on October 1, 2021.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Variety the Children's Charity.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Variety the Children's Charity or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Variety the Children's Charity does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

Cause

Every summer since 1999, BC's kids with special needs and their families are treated to a day of pirate-themed adventure on the high seas at Boat for Hope, a fundraiser in support of Variety - the Children’s Charity. The Boat for Hope committee also takes great pride knowing that over the past 23 years, this event has raised over $2.5 million for Variety BC.
